It will certainly be interesting to see how the Arizona Bankruptcy Court rules on this on May 19th. In the meantime, I'm sure that many of us will agree that this whole thing actually exposes Bettman and the way he's been trying to hide or cover-up the real truths behind some of the teams that are really in trouble in the NHL. If Bettman loses this Coyotes ruling, then it will most certainly spell the beginning of the end of the NHL's Bettman Era. As for Wayne Gretzky, I believe that he is always on the side of the NHL on these important issues so as to not burn any bridges with the NHL Board Of Governors. The reason being that he will likely succeed in becoming the NHL Commissioner one day.

This should be a no brainer...Absolutely NO MONEY should be given by the taxpayers to upgrade Copps. Most of the upgrades will go to the luxury boxes which the average Joe Taxpayer will not be able to get near. Compared to other NHL venues, Copps is a dump and needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. Baisillie should cough up 100% of the cash to do this or get out of town.
